Devcor was the company I worked for. This company was about providing a phone service to inmates only in the U.S.A. Also family member being able to deposite money to inmates. This company was all about being able to handle very irate customer.Inmates always had problems getting the credits for their phone service late as well as the deposites or books .This depending on the correctional facility.Learning to take control of the call while at the same time providing the best customer service was the key to seccuss .Working under alot of presure and also being able to make the family feel at easy was a day to day duty. Following up on the calls to make sure the family members knew what was going on in the facility and the reason why they were having issues, or just simply giving them an answer by calling them back after crying, worried about their inmate, and getting to hear them say thank you, and make them feel at ease, made this a great place to work at. Took a lot of knowledge from this.
Working in SpotOn has been nothing but a great experience. Working with a great team and great management made our working environment so much fun and easy. Waking up to go to the office every day was something to look forward to. I learned so much from them.
I learned about marketing.
About payment device systems.
Appointment software and setting.
loyalty program, rewards service for customers.
Creating a menu for large accounts and setting up menus for restaurants directly on their POS.
Giving full walkthroughs on the payment devices or software to make sure merchants understood how to use the system and manage on their own.
Proving tech support when needed on loyalty tablets - all of this also involved the best customer service that can possibly be given since we had a VIP account. All of this involves so much more to it and was all worked from each merchant's dashboard. Assisting with billing questions, providing sales reports, and assisting in the downloads. Updating the merchant's profile and keeping them up to date. Following up on any ticket that may have been opened for a technical issue and providing a solution. All to do with the dashboard was my role in Spoton. I constantly had trainings to keep up to date in the system with any new changes made to the dashboard. This involved a lot of multitasking and problem solving, and I loved all of it. I gained so much knowledge.
I was working for Verizon. I learned about sales in the company. Most customers in Verizon were customers at the time that only had landlines. I was able to take this challenge on because we wanted to upsell to the customer and provide them with a better plan since technology was changing and cell phones were the new thing. We wanted the customer who had the service to also have planes that would best fit their needs. I was able to change their monthly plans to unlimited minutes or even add international calls to their plans by simply doing an upgrade. I think if we can show our customers more empathy and put ourselves in their shoes, they will appreciate that from us and therefore make an upsell to a customer easier.
Working in Telvista was my first job in Mexico and my first call center. In television, I was working for Western Union. The role I played was to help the customer who had sent money to any part of the world, helping them track the transaction, verify the transaction number was correct, and make sure their family members were able to receive the money, if there was a hold to verify the issue. To make sure no fraudulent activity was happening at the moment with large sums of transactions, the main focus in Western Union was the quality of customer service to the customers. Quality assurance had to be 100 percent at all times. The knowledge I have, in regards to giving the best of the best of quality customer service, came from Western Union, and I carry with me and I have learned to apply it in life in general.
In this position, part of my responsibility was to set up appointments with customers who were potential buyers and were seeking or showing interest in an automobile of their choice. Providing them with the address to the car dealership that had the car of their interest or was closer to them. I had to set up an appointment for the customer that would best fix their needs to meet with a sales representative at the dealership.
Working in Mesa Fresh was one of the best jobs I had. I started working while I was in high school for part-time only. I started as a host/cashier. I had to welcome them at the entrance while at the same time take their order and accept their payment. Once paid, take their order to the table. I was working with a manager who spoke almost no English, so I would have to translate any issue a customer might have had to him at the moment. He allowed me to take more responsibilities in the restaurant. I would handle payroll and at the end of each day, I would closeout the registers, make sure the sales for the day were correct, and make the cash deposit to the bank. I also learned to place the order of the inventory and place an order for the products needed. Finally, I learned to work at the same pace as the cooks when we were short-staffed. I would jump in the kitchen at any of the areas my help was needed. My favorite part was working in the kitchen, and it is still something I love to do to this day.
