- During Acero Prime I had the opportunity to collaborate on different roles / positions, I started as Customer Service Representative in which I handle automotive accounts like Toyota, GM, and some Steel Mills, as Arcelor Mittal, USS, SDI, Nucor , SSAB, and some others, helping them to set up new parts on MRP, schedule production and deliveries of their material o¿based on JIT culture
- Also I had the opportunity to coordinate materials department with 46 employees under my charge , as principal duties was to ship all customer requirements on safely and timely manner, maintain physically inventories accurate, all materials operations like packaging , feed production lines, receiving, including the equipment supervision as cranes, forklifts and trackmobile for rail cars handling.
- Then I have the challenge to coordinate Quality area and some of the main duties are, Collaborated with team members to provide training on improved processes and assisted with creation and maintenance of quality training.
- Collected and analyzed data and initiated improvements to increase security and performance.
- Assisted with quality control audits.
- Spearheaded programs to keep production processes in line with industry standards.
- Provided regular updates to team leadership on quality metrics by communicating consistency problems or production deficiencies.
- Developed monthly, end-of-quarter and other statistical reports for leadership team and quality improvement programs.
- Addressed non-conformance issues, pausing production to correct errors.
- Conducted regular audits to maintain adherence to ISO TS 16949 standards and regulations.

- Developed quality planning for multiple new product launches by verifying customer requirements and implementing in design and production.
- Coordinate samples /coupons to send to the lab for mechanical and chemistries properties. Manage and send mill certs to the customers.
- Coordinate calibrations and verifications of measuring equipments as Calipers, scales, etc..
- Coordinate all activities related to non conformance materials as internal reworks, communication with customer for disposition, and all controls required by ISO at plant.
