  • This research resulted in the reading and exploration of texts written by Afro-Pacific South American women Mary Grueso, Luz Argentina Chiriboga and Lucía Charún-Illescas. By exploring the thematic trends in their oeuvre,the research advances the initial Phd exploration; this study attempted to produce the material for a gender balanced manuscript.
  • This research also resulted in the writing of articles currently accepted and under review for resubmission to Afro-Hispanic Review, Revista Iberoamericana and Deleuze-Guattari Studies Journal.
  • I also gained the skills to write syllabi for graduate and undergraduate courses on Afro-Pacific literature.
