Teaching and Tutoring

Wide-ranging cumulative experience in Mexico (University of Security Sciences, Tec de Monterrey, State University of Nuevo León, State University of Coahuila, Metropolitan University of Monterrey) and in the UK (University of Edinburgh), teaching and tutoring courses for undergraduate and graduate students, such as academic writing, public safety, policing, public policy, diploma for police officers, economics, mathematics for social sciences, quantitative analysis techniques, and statistics for social sciences, research methods and social theory applied to crime prevention.


Fieldwork

Research in a vulnerable community in Edinburgh, UK, for the "Community experiences of crime in Scotland". The project was commissioned by the Scottish Government and coordinated by the University of Stirling and the University of Glasgow. Additional experience doing in-depth interviews and focus groups in Dumfries, Scotland; as well as in-depth interviews in Monterrey, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain.

I work out for taking care of my mind and body. I like food, while keeping a healthy balance. Whenever I have some spare time, I go to the cinema and enjoy a nice meal with my wife and friends.
