Experienced and passionate content professional and producer with thirteen years of expertise in content production, development, and acquisition. Currently serving as the Head of Acast in Mexico, leading the company to become the top-rated podcast network in just three years of strategic market expansion.
Previously, at Cultura Colectiva, a leading digital content platform, I spearheaded the establishment of the Production and Audiovisual Development department. Within my initial two years with the company, our achievements included transitioning from producing viral Facebook videos to delivering award-winning documentary series for YouTube, launching a successful news show, and producing the company's inaugural documentary feature film, which received acclaim and was distributed by National Geographic in 2018.
Co-creator and co-writer of "Archipiélago," a fictional crime series whose rights were acquired by The Immigrant in 2023. In addition to my creative contribution, it was my responsibility to seek out an agent and pitch the series to various production houses, ultimately negotiating the terms of the purchase option alongside our lawyer.
Acast is one of the world’s biggest independent podcast company and the engine powering creators, advertisers and listeners everywhere. It hosts more than 20,000 shows worldwide, monetizing and growing global smash hits and global publishers like the BBC, the Guardian, Louie Media, Binge Audio, The Economist, Vice and Vogue.
The largest digital platform in terms of audience reach in the Spanish-speaking market.
